Our Wessex family of schools

Ofsted

We are delighted to share with you the outcome of our recent Ofsted inspection. The report recognises the significant progress our school has made and celebrates the hard work, dedication, and commitment of our whole community, and we are now meeting the expected standard in all nine areas – a significant achievement.

Ofsted highlighted the successful journey of improvement we have been on, noting in particular the inclusive ethos we have created — one where every pupil feels they belong. Inspectors recognised that SEND provision sits at the heart of our work, and this remains central to everything we do.

The report also acknowledges that our curriculum is well sequenced and progressive, enabling children to build their knowledge and skills with confidence. Most importantly, Ofsted noted that our pupils enjoy being part of our community and speak proudly about their school, which is a testament to the culture we have all contributed to.

This inspection was carried out under the new, demanding framework, which sets a high bar for all schools. It is important to note that this framework cannot be compared with previous versions, as the expectations and measures are significantly different. We are therefore extremely proud that the impact of our work has been clearly recognised.

As always, we remain committed to continuing our journey of improvement. We will keep refining and strengthening our provision to ensure every child receives tweshe very best education and experiences possible.
