Home Learning Expectations
-
Home learning plays a vital role in reinforcing and extending the skills pupils develop at school, particularly in key areas such as reading, spelling, and maths.
-
Regular reading at home helps to build fluency, comprehension, and a lifelong love of books, while practising spelling supports accurate writing and vocabulary development.
-
Engaging with maths activities outside the classroom strengthens number fluency and problem-solving skills.
