What is a key person?

A key person is responsible for a smaller group of children. Your child will be allocated a key person and our Early Years Lead will be your child's other key person.

What will they do?

They will help to settle your child into the environment, making them feel safe and secure.
Build strong relationships with families.
Plan activities for your child based on their personal and developmental needs.
Keep records of your child’s development.
Complete assessments on your child.
