They discovered the rich history of the building; explored beautiful Dorset tapestries; took part in a major making activity by voting for a new mayor; and visited the council chambers, where town councillors debate and make important decisions. To top it all off, each child was presented with a special Dorchester coin by the mayor. What a memorable day of learning and fun!
