BBC Children in Need ‘Challenge Yourself to 25’ - Friday 14th November

We are excited to announce that this year, Manor Park children will be taking part in the Children in Need 'Challenge yourself to 25' event at home! This is a fantastic opportunity for our pupils to get creative and take on a sponsored challenge involving the number 25, all while supporting a wonderful cause.

he idea is simple: children choose a challenge based around the number 25 and complete it at home. The challenge can be anything they like! Here are some ideas to inspire you and your child:

• Read 25 books

• Perform 25 acts of kindness

• Complete 25 laps around the park

• Hula-hoop non-stop for 25 minutes

• Bake 25 cupcakes

• Do 25 star jumps

• Draw 25 pictures

• Write 25 sentences or stories

• Collect 25 leaves or natural items on a walk

• Learn 25 new words

We have sent children home with a sponsorship form and a progress tracker to help them keep motivated and record their achievements. We kindly ask parents to encourage their child to participate and track their progress.

We would also love to see the children in action! Please send in photos of your child taking part in their 25-themed challenge via the office or pist them here in the comments. These pictures will help us celebrate their efforts and share the fun with our school community. We look forward to seeing the amazing challenges our Manor Park children take on!

Once your child has completed their challenge, sponsorship money can be paid directly to BBC Children in Need via their JustGiving page. This helps ensure all funds go straight to supporting children in need across the country.
