This opened up their learning, as this was their topic over the past couple of weeks.

The children were full of excitement as they followed their handmade maps, searching high and low for hidden treasure. They worked together to spot clues; navigate their way around the field; and solve little challenges along the way.

There was lots of running, exploring, and imaginative play as the children became brave pirates on a big adventure. We heard plenty of “Ahoy!” and “I’ve found it!” as they discovered different treasure spots.

This activity supported their teamwork, problem-solving, and early map-reading skills, all while enjoying the outdoors and letting their imaginations run wild.
