In Geography, Year One have been learning about the United Kingdom. We have used atlases to explore a map of the UK and learned that it is made up of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Today, we focused on London. Using chalk, we created the River Thames and added some of London's famous landmarks and features, including bridges, tall buildings, boats, the London Eye and Tower Bridge. #ManorParkSuperStars #LoveForLearning #ManorParkGeographers

This week, some of our Year 4 children took part in Level 1 Bikeability training. Throughout the sessions, pupils developed a range of important cycling skills, including carrying out basic safety checks on their bikes, starting and stopping with control, maintaining balance, steering confidently, and demonstrating good awareness of their surroundings. They also practised signalling, manoeuvring safely, and understanding how to ride responsibly in a traffic-free environment. Well done to all the children for their enthusiasm, perseverance, and growing confidence on two wheels! We hope these skills will help them enjoy cycling safely and independently in the future. #ManorParkSuperStars #LoveForLearning #BikeAbility
